Sambalpuri Dance

Sambalpuri folk dance mainly originated in the Sambalpur District, Odisha. It is a traditional dance form of western Odisha that produces a lasting effect in the minds of the audience. The singing and performance of this form include the typical touch of tribal and rural cultures. The performing artists are young women of different tribes in different districts of Odisha. In this case, male artists include women such as drummers and musicians.

Dhol, Madhuri, and many other musical instruments are also included in this dance. It is a very popular dance form in the western part of Orissa. History Of Sambalpuri Folk Dance
